What do you enjoy most about working in urgent care?
I love the variability of my day. I’m never bored, and I never know what is going to walk through the door which keeps me on my toes. I also love that I have an opportunity to be a positive impact to every patient that comes in our doors. Hopefully that means I have people feeling better leaving than when they were coming in!
What would you be doing if you weren’t in healthcare?
I would be a veterinarian. I love animals (almost as much as I love human medicine and science) so I feel like I would still be in healthcare just with different species.
What are some of your hobbies or things you like to do outside of work?
I actively play volleyball, traveling around the country to different states and playing in tournaments with my team. We won our league this past year and hope to defend our title this season! When I’m not playing, I love to hang out with my friends and family, exploring local restaurants and outdoor attractions. I also love to read!
